O2 steel is a high-quality oil-quenched cold working die steel with high hardness, high wear resistance, good dimensional stability, toughness and machinability. O2 steel is a chromium free cold working die steel. Its main alloy element is manganese(Mn), with a mass fraction up to 1.7%-2.0%. In addition, it also contains a small amount of vanadium(V). These elements improve the hardenability, strength, wear resistance and hardness of the steel.

- Higher processing difficulty
