- Description
201 Stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel, the main components include chromium,nickel, manganese and other elements. It has good corrosion resistance and plasticity, excellent processing performance, and it is suitable for stamping, bending, and other processing processes. Compare with 304 stainless steel, 201 stainless steel has lower nickel content and higher manganese content, so the cost is relatively low and cost effective. It is often used in architectural decoration, kitchen equipment, home applicance housing and other fields. However, the corrosion resistance of 201 stainless steel is slightly inferior to that of 304, and it is not suitable for long-term contact with strong acidic or alkaline environments.
