Acero aleado 20MnCr5/1.7147
20MnCr5 steel (1.7147 material) is an European standard carburized steel (case hardening steel) with high strength and toughness and good hardenability. The quenching deformation is small, the low temperature toughness and the machinability are good, but the welding performance is low. It’s generally used after carburizing quenching or quenching and tempering.

Aplicación
20MnCr5 steel is commonly used in the production of gears due to its ability to be case-hardened and its excellent wear resistance. This makes it well-suited for gears that are exposed to high levels of wear and tear.
